Carsten Schael is an award winning German Photographer based in Hong Kong since 1991.
He has worked all over Asia and the Middle East. His editorial work has appeared on the covers of magazines and on the pages of newspapers around the world. He has served two terms as the president of the Hong Kong Institute of Professional Photographers (HKIPP) and served on the board of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club Hong Kong for six years.
Further, he has served as a judge of the Human Rights Press Awards and curated many local and international photography exhibits over the years.
Sue Dorfman is a USA-based freelance photojournalist, specializing in social documentary. Sue is a contract photographer for Azusa Press She has traveled widely with her camera, including reporting trips to various conflict and post-conflict zones. Sue is currently working on a project “Documenting Democracy”, capturing the photo stories of those working the right to vote in the US in this election cycle.
Indira Williams Babic
Indira Williams Babic is the Director of photography and visual resources at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. She oversees research, editorial selection, acquisition, digital processing, rights management, printed image quality control and digital and analog storage of all photography on exhibit and in the collection at the museum. Originally from Panama, Babic has been working in the photography field for more than 20 years. Before joining the Newseum, she worked as a researcher at an online photo licensing agency in Arlington, Va., a television host and producer in Spain, and an editor for a book publishing company in Panama.
